Go to the device manager and click on the PCI Serial Port needing the driver. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file. That folder will be located in C: SWSetup sp69506. Make sure the Include Subfolders box. The PCI serial card can only be installed in desktop computers. The PCMCIA RS232port card can be installed in laptops but also in desktops with a PCMCIA slot. Description
On-board zener diodes giving transient spike protection to the inputs, making this card ideal for factory automation installations. The megabaud data transfer rates and the 64 byte deep FIFO, coupled with the RS485 Half Duplex Autogating guarantees uncompromising performance and fault-free use. The PCI RS422/485 Velocity card uses the 16750 UART, two generations beyond the industry standard 16550. The UART clock can be set through software to provide maximum baud rates of either 921,600 baud, 460,800 baud, 230,400 baud, or 115,200 baud (standard PC). Serial Solutions Device Driver CD contains software for Windows 7, Server 2008, Vista, Server 2003, XP, 2000, Millennium, 98, 95, NT4, Windows 3.x, DOS and OS/2. Informative manuals and sample programs are supplied with full source code on CD!
